Overview of Acriflavine
Acriflavine is slow-acting antiseptic. Acriflavine is used in the treatment of infected wounds or burns and for skin disinfction.
Indication of Acriflavine
Acriflavine is primarily indicated in conditions like Burns, Skin infections, Wounds, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Superficial infections.
Contraindication of Acriflavine
Acriflavine is contraindicated in conditions like Bacterial infections,Fungal infection.
Side Effects of Acriflavine
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Acriflavine are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Hypersensitivity reactions.
Precautions of Acriflavine
It should be used with caution in large areas of damaged skin.
