Side Effects of Sodium Thiosulphate
The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Sodium Thiosulphate, which give rise to further complications include Irritation, Itching, Hives.,Sodium Thiosulphate produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Hypotension. which are responsible for the discontinuation of Sodium Thiosulphate therapy.,The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Sodium Thiosulphate are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Burning, Stinging on application.
Precautions of Sodium Thiosulphate
Discontinue topical use if irritation or sensitivity occurs. Can increase risk of thiocyanate intoxication. Safety in pregnancy has not been established. Discontinue topical use if irritation or sensitivity occurs
