Side Effects of Sodium Calciumedetate
The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Sodium Calciumedetate, which give rise to further complications include Renal tubular changes.,The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Sodium Calciumedetate are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Thirst, Headache, Fatigue, Malaise, Nausea and vomiting, Urinary urgency, Urinary frequency.
Precautions of Sodium Calciumedetate
Sodium calciumedetate should be used with caution in patients with impaired renal function. Regular monitoring of renal function for proteinuria and haematuria has been recommended. It should not be given by mouth in the treatment of lead poisoning.
