Contraindication of Acepromazine Maleate

Acepromazine (Maleate) is contraindicated in conditions like Depression,Parkinsonism,Blood dyscrasias,Bone marrow depression,Coma,Brain damage.

Side Effects of Acepromazine Maleate

The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Acepromazine (Maleate), which give rise to further complications include Hypotension, Hypotension.,The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Acepromazine (Maleate) include Low blood pressure, Slow heartbeat.,The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Acepromazine (Maleate) are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Constipation, Dry mouth, Blurred vision, Nasal congestion, Mydriasis, Agitation, Delirium, Dry mouth.

Precautions of Acepromazine Maleate

It should be used with caution in patients with peptic ulcer, in CNS disease, prostatic hypertrophy, in increased serum creatinin levels.
