Homatropine (HBr) is used as a mydriatic. Homatropine (HBr) is relaxes the eye muscles and causing the pupil to dilate. italso used during eye examinations.

Homatropine (HBr) is primarily indicated in conditions like Cycloplegia induction, Glucoma, Induce cycloplegia, Induce mydriasis, Mydriasis induction, Uveitis.

Contraindication of Homatropine (HBr)

Homatropine (HBr) is contraindicated in conditions like Narrow-angle glaucoma.

Homatropine should be used with caution in patients with glaucoma. Do not use this medication while wearing soft contact lenses because the lenses may be discolored. This medication should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed.should be used with cuation in pateints with fever.
