Alginic Acid is a hydrophilic colloidal carbohydrate extracted with dilute alkali from species of brown seaweed of the class Phaeophyceae. Alginic Acid is used as a pharmaceutical aid such as tablet binder and emulsifying agent.

Indication of Alginic Acid

Alginic Acid is primarily indicated in conditions like Dyspepsia, Epigastric distress, Heart burn, Retrosternal distress.
