Indication of Ethacridine (Lactate)
Ethacridine (Lactate) is primarily indicated in conditions like Antiseptic, Diarrhoea, Infected burns, Infected wounds, and can also be given in adjunctive therapy as an alternative drug of choice in Second trimester abortion.
Contraindication of Ethacridine (Lactate)
Ethacridine (Lactate) is contraindicated in conditions like Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Side Effects of Ethacridine (Lactate)
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Ethacridine (Lactate) are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Vomiting, Fever, Shivering.
Precautions of Ethacridine (Lactate)
It should be used with caution in young childrens and pregnant females.
